Guy Oranim, along with his business partner, Sharon Rechter, conceptualized and co-founded First Media in 2006. First Media began as a cable channel called BabyFirst, geared towards babies and their mothers, and has now grown into a multi-platform, content publisher dedicated to the savvy millennial woman, with over 1.7 billion monthly video views on Facebook, and in over 60 million US TV homes.
Guy began his professional journey at an early age. After he completed his LLB at Tel Aviv University and passed the Israeli lawyer bar exams, he started his military service as a lawyer and later, as the president of a military court. Switching gears towards his passion, he received his MBA in marketing and later became the EVP of strategic planning at BBDO, handling multiple international accounts such as Pfizer, Henkel, SONY etc.
